What is Mindful Seated Yoga also known as Chair Yoga?

All Yoga with Tracey is practiced with mindfulness, chair yoga is great for people recovering from injuries, older adults and people with disabilities to receive the wonderful benefits of yoga. Staying seated means that anyone can safely do the exercises. It may help with chronic pain, reduce stress, improve circulation, improve breathing and breath awareness, promote mobility, improve mental health and wellbeing, reduce anxiety, lower blood pressure, protects joints, and supports strength and balance.

This 1 hr 15 min class consists of yoga exercises, breathing techniques, meditation and concludes with a 15 minute guided relaxation. Due to Covid, this class is now offered online live each week via zoom.

 The essence of yoga is to create harmony between the body, mind, and spirit.
